In a tragic incident, five people including four labourers and their supervisor were killed due to asphyxiation after they went inside a 14-foot-deep manhole at Nandgram’s Krishna Kunj colony in Ghaziabad, UP.
The incident happened on Thursday afternoon while the workers were trying to connect the one-and-a-half-foot-wide manhole to an under-construction sewer line of Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam.
